Inpatient mental health
When a mental health crisis requires more support than outpatient care can provide, inpatient hospitalization offers a safe, structured environment to stabilize, heal and build a path forward. Our inpatient programs are designed to help you regain stability and return to your life and community with the tools to stay well.

Our approach to inpatient care
We take a holistic approach to inpatient mental health treatment, one that treats the whole person, not just the immediate crisis. Every adult admitted to our inpatient program receives:
A comprehensive medical and clinical evaluation on admission
A personalized treatment plan developed with a multidisciplinary team
Active involvement in your own treatment and recovery
Your care team
Our inpatient behavioral health team includes on-site psychiatrists, nurses, and licensed social workers, all focused on helping you stabilize and transition successfully.
What treatment looks like
Treatment in our inpatient units is built around a structured group environment, with programming designed to develop real coping skills. Your care may include:
Group psychotherapy
Facilitated sessions that help you process emotions and build skills alongside peers
Psychoeducation
Learning about your diagnosis, medications and how to manage symptoms
Activity-based therapy
Therapeutic programming that supports emotional regulation and engagement
Medication management
Careful evaluation and adjustment of medications by our psychiatry team
Family participation
Loved ones are encourages to be part of your care throughout your stay, supporting continuity when you return home
Recovery doesn't end when you leave the hospital. Before discharge, you'll work closely with your inpatient treatment team to create a safe, supported transition back to your community. Depending on your needs, you may:
- Return to the care of your existing psychiatrist or clinician.
- Be referred to our Intensive Outpatient or Acute Partial Hospitalization programs for continued structured support.
