About me
Angela Chung, DO, is a primary care physician with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, she treats patients aged 14+, and employs a comprehensive approach to deliver the highest quality of care. With a warm and casual style, she builds rapport with her patients and works as a team to achieve wellness. In addition, Dr. Chung provides LGBTQ+ affirming care at every stage of life, encouraging open communication to ensure that all patients receive quality care in a respectful, safe, and welcoming environment.
Dr. Chung earned her osteopathic medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, NY, and completed her family practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerset, NJ. Her professional interests lie in managing chronic conditions, LGBTQ+ care, and incorporating both physical and psychological concerns in her practice. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Dr. Chung is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

- 5.0Nov 13, 2025I was looking to change providers, and this was my first appointment with Dr. Chung. I am extremely happy to be in her care after just a single visit. I was checked in and seen extremely quickly. All of the office staff were very efficient and kind to me. I had been seeing my previous primary care doctor as well as several specialists (4 different doctors to be exact) for joint pain that no one can seem to figure out. I was dismissed by several of them when I first noticed symptoms and brought up the subject at appointments. Even when I followed up and told them that the invisible pain is getting worse, none of them seemed to hear me. On my very first visit with Dr. Chung, not only did she address and validate my concerns and pain, but she also asked if it was causing me distress. She is the only provider who has ever checked in with me and asked me that question. Not once did I feel rushed or unheard by her during the appointment. She even spoke with me about how to try and advocate for myself with my other providers in order to try and get a treatment plan/diagnosis. I am truly appreciative of her and am so happy that she was recommended to me.
