At Atlantic Health, we want to help you connect with health care professionals you trust. We have primary care practitioners and endocrinologists, from pediatrics to geriatrics, who are experienced in caring for the unique needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ+) community.
From routine well-care and preventative screenings to assistance navigating specialty care, our team is here to help you access the care you need.

Primary care LGBTQ+ services
Our primary care practitioners strive to provide a warm, welcoming environment and offer the following range of services:
- Comprehensive primary care services including routine well visits, preventative screenings, management of chronic conditions
- Connectivity to specialists and care coordination
- Mental health screenings
- Sexual health services:
o HIV/AIDS screening, prevention (including PrEP and PEP) and management
o Sexual risk assessments and testing
- Gender-affirming hormone therapy*
