Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is the 2nd most recognized hospital in the country with 55 distinctions including America's Best Hospitals for Specialty Care, Specialty Excellence Awards, Five-stars and six #1 in NJ State Rankings. Morristown is also the only hospital in the country to receive all of the following recognitions: America's 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care, America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention Procedures, America's 50 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Surgery, America's 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery and America's 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement Surgery.
Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center is the only hospital in the country to receive the following: America's 100 Best Hospitals for Gastrointestinal Care, America's 100 Best Hospitals for Gastrointestinal Surgery, America's 100 Best Hospitals for Pulmonary Care, America's 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care, America's 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care and America's 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery. Additionally, Morristown achieved the Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Award for Gastrointestinal Care for the eighth consecutive year (2019-2026) and Gastrointestinal Surgery for the fourth consecutive year (2023-2026).
