Comprehensive, evidence-based diabetes support

Whether you’re recently diagnosed with diabetes, trying to understand your risk or looking to better manage your illness, Atlantic Health can help. At the Atlantic Health Novo Nordisk Diabetes Center, you get individual support from certified diabetes educators, evidence-based prevention programs and guidance on self-management in partnership with your primary care physician.

Personalized diabetes management program

Whether you have just been diagnosed with diabetes or have been living with it for years, controlling your diabetes with lifestyle changes can be challenging. At Atlantic Health, our diabetes educators offer diabetes management tools to help you feel better, keep your blood sugar level and reduce future complications.

At your initial assessment, we’ll review your medical history. We will cover proper blood glucose monitoring and provide preliminary meal planning guidance. Your diabetes coach will then create a customized diabetes management program that meets your unique needs, including weight loss, meal plans and essential resources for lasting, healthy lifestyle changes.

We accept most insurances

Atlantic Medical Group accepts most insurance plans, but always check with your insurance company first. If you require a copayment at the time of your visit, we accept cash, checks and most credit cards.

Please note: Procedures done in our office depend on your insurance coverage. Some insurance plans require that you see a specialist. Always be sure to check with your insurance provider.
