About me
Suhyla Alam, MD, is an otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) at New Providence. She is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and provides specialty care for acute and chronic conditions of the ear, nose and throat. Dr. Alam treats patients of all ages and embraces a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to provide the best available care for her patients, enabling them to resume normal activities and enjoy a better quality of life. Compassionate and skilled, her expertise spans the full range of disorders from ear infections to tumors of the head and neck. Dr. Alam is skilled in the latest technologies and state-of-the-art treatments for pediatric and adult ENT pathology. She has collaborated on research and published and presented on topics related to otolaryngology. After earning her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Alam completed a five-year residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System where she gained diverse experience in all aspects of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. She was in private practice in New York prior to joining AMG. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization and can accommodate same day appointments
