Shaun Thomas Adair, MD

Shaun Adair, MD, is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, he specializes in urogynecological medical conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, stress incontinence, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, urinary frequency and urgency and treatment for recurrent urinary tract infections. He provides compassionate care and uses minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever possible for faster recovery and improved patient comfort.

After earning his medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ, Dr. Adair performed his residency in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ. As a resident, he served as the New Jersey Section Junior Fellow Chair for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, advocating for women’s health on a national level and participated in community health activities, explaining the importance of blood pressure screening in pregnancy on a local level. He followed that with a fellowship in the Department of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, also at Morristown Medical Center, where he earned a Fellow Achievement award.

Dr. Adair has conducted research on various topics including treatments for recurrent urinary tract infections in adult women and transcatheter cystoscopy during hysterectomy. He has presented on these topics at national medical conferences and lectured hospital residents and medical students on a variety of urogynecology topics. His volunteer activities include mentoring high school students interested in medicine through Morris Education Foundation.

Dr. Adair is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
