About me
Robert Sipzner, MD, is a fellowship-trained nephrologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in nephrology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has more than 30 years of specialized experience in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the kidney, as well as hypertension, treating patients with care and compassion. He has advanced training to identify and manage more complex or advanced kidney disorders.
Dr. Sipzner is a partner in the Hypertension and Renal Group PA in Livingston, which recently changed its name to Atlantic Medical Group Nephrology at Livingston. Joining AMG provides patients a deeper connection to comprehensive and specialized care, all seamlessly connected as part of Atlantic Health System. He has served as a nephrologist to multiple independent outpatient dialysis centers.
After earning his medical degree from New York University Grossman School of Medicine, NYC, Dr. Sipzner performed his internal medicine residency at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. He then received fellowship training in nephrology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN.
Dr. Sipzner has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the New York Metro Area for 20 years and named a Top Doctor multiple times in a row by Jersey’s Best magazine and New York magazine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Sipzner is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
