Rakhi Vyas, DO

Rakhi Vyas, DO, is a physiatrist, also known as a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Vyas has more than 10 years of experience caring for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Her clinical interests include pelvic pain, musculoskeletal medicine, diagnostic and ultrasound-guided procedures and electrodiagnostic testing. She believes patient-centered care is key to developing effective pain management.

After earning her osteopathic medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, NY, Dr. Vyas completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Temple University Hospital/Moss Rehabilitation in Philadelphia, PA. During her residency, she received the Strax Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, and she served as a medical student mentor, guiding other medical students with interest in physiatry.

Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Vyas served as a physiatrist in New York City assessing and managing patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders and performing electrodiagnostic testing, diagnostic ultrasound, trigger point and joint injections. She then served as a pelvic pain and rehabilitation specialist treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain.

Familiar with Gujarati and Hindi, Dr. Vyas has presented at national and international conferences. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
