Phillip Ruisi, DO

Dr. Phillip Ruisi is an interventional cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group Lakeland Cardiology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound interpretation (RPVI). Fellowship-trained in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology, he performs a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, and as well cardiac and vascular diagnostic testing. He sees patients at the Mountain Lakes, Randolph, and Rockaway office sites.Dedicated to both noninvasive and interventional cardiology, Dr. Ruisi approaches his patients with compassion, knowledge, and integrity to help them maintain and prolong an active and energetic lifestyle. He is dedicated to ongoing research and education in advancing innovative procedures that detect and treat complex cardiac conditions.Dr. Ruisi graduated from the University of Notre Dame. After earning his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his residency and chief residency at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine and two fellowship programs in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.Dr. Ruisi is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
