Paul Markowski, MD

Dr. Markowski has been contributing to the field of oncology since working in a cancer research lab during and after his undergraduate work at Johns Hopkins University. A desire to care for patients brought him back to his home state of New Jersey where he completed his medical school degree at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He then completed internal medicine residency and subsequent hematology/oncology fellowship training at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Hospital/Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

Throughout his hematology and oncology career Dr Markowski has published and presented many peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and posters on a multitude of cancer types. He has particular interest and expertise in lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, and breast cancer. In addition, he has extensive experience taking care of patients with both benign and malignant blood disorders.
