Nisha Kotecha, MD

Nisha Kotecha, MD, is a pulmonologist specializing in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and pulmonology with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine with subspecialties in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she has more than eight years of experience treating disorders of the lungs and respiratory system, including pneumonia, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and emphysema. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

After earning her medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai, India, Dr. Kotecha performed residencies in anesthesiology at Government Medical College, Aurangabad, India, and internal medicine at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, NJ. She then completed a fellowship in pulmonary critical care at Mount Sinai Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Medical Center, New York, NY. Prior to joining AMG, she served as a cardiologist assistant in Mumbai, India. She also currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA, and is codirector of the Community Palliative Care Advisory Board.

Dr. Kotecha has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, delivered numerous presentations, and is a member of the professional organizations American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, and American Thoracic Society. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
