Mohammed N Salem, MD

Dr. Mohammed Salem is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. He loves both the inpatient and outpatient settings, with most recent focus on his Primary Care office and post acute care rehabilitation affiliations. Dr. Salem is a well published physician. He is originally from New York, and moved to New Jersey in 2002. He completed Internal Medicine residency training at Northwell Health’s Staten Island University Hospital. He has held positions, and continues to be credentialed at multiple esteemed hospital centers in the state, including local positions on staff at St. Joseph’s Wayne and Paterson hospitals, Atlantic Health Systems, as well as Hackensack Meridian Hospitals. Dr. Salem has training and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and is highly qualified in disease prevention and screening, chronic care managament, and in the treatment of patients with multiple chronic illnesses and diseases in the acute and post acute care settings. Dr. Salem is also the Medical Director at The Oaks of Denville, a post acute care skilled nursing facility. Special interests include diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancer, arthritis, and those with rare and complex conditions. In his spare time, you can find Dr. Mohammed Salem traveling, watching NBA basketball, or relaxing and spending time with his family and friends.
