Michelle Patricia Kallis, MD

Michelle P. Kallis, MD, PhD, is a pediatric surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, she specializes in performing surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents to treat a wide range of congenital and acquired conditions. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

Dr. Kallis earned a BS in biology with a minor in political science from Fordham University, New York, NY, followed by an MS in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University, Washington, DC, a medical degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY, and a PhD from Feinstein Institutes of Medical Research, Manhasset, NY. She then completed a general surgery internship and residency at North Shore University Hospital-LIJ Medical Center in Manhasset, a pediatric surgery research fellowship at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, New Hyde Park, NY, and a pediatric surgery fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Kallis has authored peer-reviewed publications, delivered national and international presentations, and is a member of the professional organizations American College of Surgeons, Association for Academic Surgery, American Pediatric Surgical Association, and American Association for Cancer Research. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
