Michaela Bukoski, PA

Michaela Bukoski, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in sports medicine with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, she first assists orthopedic surgeons in surgery, orders and interprets radiographs, MRIs, CTs, ultrasounds, and EMGs to diagnose and evaluate sports-related injuries and conditions, indicates patients for appropriate surgical procedures, assesses and cares for patients post-operatively, creates patient-specific post-op rehabilitation plans, and performs in-office procedures including joint injections and aspirations, ultrasound-guided injections, suture removals, bracing, casting, and splinting. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

Michaela Bukoski obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Physician Assistant Studies, cum laude, from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, followed by obtaining her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Marist University. Prior to joining AMG, she served as an interventional pain management physician assistant in Elizabeth, NJ. She is also ACLS/BLS-certified, is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
