Michael Resnikoff, MD

Michael Resnikoff, MD, FACS, RPVI, is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he specializes in aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access care, and the full spectrum of varicose vein problems. Dr. Resnikoff is also certified as a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI), which documents the highest standard in vascular ultrasound interpretation.

With more than 25 years of experience in vascular surgery, Dr. Resnikoff also has significant clinical research trial experience as a co-investigator for dozens of studies examining the safety and effectiveness of a wide variety of advanced aortic, carotid and thoracic stents and vascular graft systems. These trials include devices from a wide range of medical device manufacturers, as Dr. Resnikoff seeks the best results for his patients. He has been published in peer-reviewed surgical journals and presented at national conferences.

After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY, Dr. Resnikoff performed his residency in general surgery at Morristown Medical Center, then called Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. He then completed a fellowship in vascular surgery at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY.

Dr. Resnikoff is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the International Society for Endovascular Surgery, American Medical Association, Society for Vascular Surgery, Morris County Medical Society, and the Medical Society of New Jersey. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
