About me
Michael J. Menack, MD, is a general/laparoscopic surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board- certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he has more than 30 years of experience specializing in minimally invasive procedures for conditions involving the abdomen, hernias, and soft tissues. He provides comprehensive, compassionate surgical care with a focus on faster recovery and reduced complications, and ensures all patients are educated about their condition and treatment.
Dr. Menack obtained his bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY, followed by his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He then performed a surgical internship and residency at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA, followed by a minimally invasive surgical techniques, laparoscopy, endoscopy and ultrasound fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital & Health Care Center, Indianapolis, IN. Prior to joining AMG, he served as a general/laparoscopic surgeon and general/vascular surgeon at various institutions, an assistant professor of surgery at Weill Medical College Cornell University, and presently serves as instructor of the American College of Surgeons Intraoperative Ultrasound Course.
Dr. Menack has authored peer-reviewed publications, delivered national presentations, and is a member of the professional organizations American College of Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, American Hernia Society, and Medical Society of New Jersey. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

- 4.7Aug 19, 2025I liked the staff and Dr. Menack very much, however, I had a 10 am appointment and did not see the doctor until around 10:40 with no explanation of why the long wait was so long.
