Matthew Frank Schaikewitz, MD

Matthew Schaikewitz, MD, is a non-invasive cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group. He is a specialist in general cardiology and board-certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Schaikewitz also completed a fellowship focused on all aspects of inherited and acquired cardiovascular disease. Dedicated to heart health, Dr. Schaikewitz is committed to the well-being of his patients and provides compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. He strives to achieve positive and lasting health outcomes so his patients can maintain active lifestyles. Dr. Schaikewitz is also interested in clinical research. He has collaborated on several studies published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at national conferences. Dr. Schaikewitz earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY, and completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, NYC. He pursued fellowship training at Morristown Medical Center, Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
