Lisa E Millstein, CNM

Lisa E. Millstein, CNM, is an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in women’s health and midwifery with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). She has more than three decades of experience providing comprehensive gynecologic, prenatal, childbirth and postpartum care, often practicing collaboratively with obstetricians to support women across the lifespan. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

Lisa obtained her bachelor’s degree in history from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, then earned her master’s in counseling psychology from New York University, New York, NY, her master’s in genetic nursing and family nurse practitioner certification from Pace University Lienhard School of Nursing, Pleasantville, NY, and her nurse midwife certification from University of Medicine and Dentistry-Rutgers University, Newark, NJ. Prior to joining AMG, she served as a nurse practitioner in gynecology and reproductive medicine in New York and New Jersey before transitioning to a long-standing career as a certified nurse midwife in hospital and private OB/GYN practices. Her work has included comprehensive gynecologic care, infertility support, full-scope maternity services and hospital-based deliveries throughout northern New Jersey. Her advanced training/certifications include Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse, Certified Nurse Midwife, American Midwifery Certification Board, CDS, DEA and NPI. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
