JoAnn McQueen Yates, CNM

JoAnn McQueen Yates, CNM, is an experienced advanced practice registered nurse specializing in women’s health and midwifery with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). With more than four decades of clinical experience, she provides comprehensive gynecologic, prenatal, childbirth and postpartum care. She collaborates closely with obstetricians and proudly delivers at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, ensuring seamless, high-quality care for women at every stage of life. JoAnn is committed to compassionate, personalized care and empowering patients through education and shared decision-making.

JoAnn earned her master’s degree / nurse-midwifery certificate from Columbia University, New York, NY, and her bachelor’s in nursing from Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ. She has served in hospital and private practice settings, co-founded a full-scope midwifery practice with admitting privileges at Morristown Medical Center and provided legal nurse consulting in addition to comprehensive maternity and gynecologic care. Her advanced training/certifications include NJ Professional Registered Nurse; NJ Certified Nurse-Midwife with prescriptive privileges; American College of Nurse-Midwives Certification; Legal Nurse Consulting Certification, Evans & Associated, Ltd.; and NAACOG Certification Corporation-Inpatient Obstetrical Nursing. She is a member of the professional organizations American College of Nurse-Midwives, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Sigma Theta Tau-The International Nursing Honor Society, Association of Reproductive Healthcare Professionals and Northern New Jersey Maternal Child Health Consortium. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
