Jill Skoczylas, MD

Jill Skoczylas, MD, is an obstetrician/gynecologist with Atlantic Medical Group and board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has advanced training in obstetrics crisis management and neonatal resuscitation along with a certification in robotic surgery.Dr. Skoczylas strives to help women learn about health issues, particularly menstrual cycle abnormalities and menopause. She provides the full spectrum of labor, delivery, and postpartum care, managing normal and high-risk pregnancies, and is dedicated to supporting women with natural childbirth and breastfeeding. She cares for patients from puberty through old age with any concerns related to women’s health. Sensitive and caring, Dr. Skoczylas strives to communicate with her patients and put them at ease while providing continuous preventive and therapeutic care. She is a passionate advocate for educating and empowering women to be active participants in making their own informed health care decisions. With her expertise in robotic surgery, she utilizes minimally invasive techniques whenever possible, resulting in less pain and shorter recovery time for patients. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.Dr Skoczylas earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and pursued residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a premier program that emphasizes continuity of care. Prior to joining Atlantic Medical Group, she was in private practice serving the greater Brooklyn and Staten Island area. She also worked closely with the residents with education and training during that time. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
