Eric S Applebaum, MD

Eric Scott Applebaum, MD, is an allergy and asthma specialist focusing on allergies (including food allergies), asthma, and sinusitis with Atlantic Health Partners. Board-certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he treats children as young as three months of age and adults into their 90s, focusing on the wide range of allergic conditions that can result in respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, musculoskeletal, and skin disorders. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

After earning his medical degree with special distinction for research in psychoneuroimmunology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY, Dr. Applebaum performed a residency in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Queens, NY. He then completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Schneider Children’s Hospital, Long Island, NY, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Prior to joining Atlantic Health Partners, he served as an instructor in medicine and pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a coordinator at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, a coordinator and study physician at Queens Hospital Center and Schneider Children’s Hospital, and a faculty/attending physician at Schneider Children’s Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

Dr. Applebaum has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, is a member of the professional organizations the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and New Jersey Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society, and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
