Elsa Thomas, MD

Dr. Elsa Thomas comes to Internal Medicine Faculty Associates from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where she focused on general medicine and primary care. She attained her medical degree from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and went on to serve in several leadership positions that included a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School as an instructor of medicine.Dr. Thomas' medical education began in the honors program at Gannon University in Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in biology and pre-med. Her medical experience includes hospital appointments in internal medicine for the U.S. Air Force, Barnes Jewish Healthcare in Missouri, and Cancer Treatment Centers of America.With a long list of leadership positions such as medical director for Maximus in Massachusetts, an organization that delivers human services to communities around the world, and roles in the U.S. Air Force 5th Medical Group at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, Dr. Thomas brings a wealth of experience to patients and families.
