Dhwanil Patel, MD

Dr. Dhwanil Patel is a nephrologist with Medical Diagnostics Associates, P.A., part of Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in internal medicine and fellowship-trained in nephrology, he focuses on diagnosing, treating and managing patients with early- or advanced-stage kidney disease.

Dr. Patel takes the time to get to know his patients, listening to their concerns and designing a treatment plan specific to each patient’s needs and health condition. He completed his nephrology fellowship at NYU School of Medicine where he gained experience in kidney biopsies, acute and chronic hemodialysis, and chronic kidney disease, such as diabetic nephropathy. He also completed his internal medicine residency at NYU School of Medicine after earning his medical degree from the American University of Antigua, where he was part of the Medical Scholars Program and served as a teaching assistant. Dr. Patel is a part of Atlantic Medical Group and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
