Derek Santiago, MD, received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1988. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at North Shore/Cornell University and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Hospitals. He returned to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he completed his fellowship training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is author of more than 20 papers/abstracts in various fields of cardiology.
He has been in practice in Morristown since 1996. He is an attending and interventional cardiologist at Morristown Medical Center.
