Deniz Yucel, MD, is a physician specializing in internal medicine with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and with a focus on comprehensive care for adults, she addresses a wide range of medical conditions. Committed to providing compassionate, personalized care, Dr. Yucel ensures that her patients are well-informed about their health and treatment options. Her medical education includes a degree from the American University of Antigua, followed by residency training in internal medicine at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, where she encountered a diverse range of pathologies that enriched her clinical experience. Before residency, she gained valuable insights as an emergency department medical scribe at the same hospital. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Montclair State University. Her fluency in Turkish allows her to effectively connect with and support a diverse patient population.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Dr. Yucel has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and was actively involved in St. Joseph’s Wellness Committee. During her undergraduate studies, she contributed to philanthropic initiatives supporting ANAD (the National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders) and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through her membership in Delta Phi Epsilon. Currently, she is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
