About me
Mark E. Weinstein, MD, is an allergist-immunologist with Atlantic Medical Group. Board-certified in allergy and immunology by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology, he treats disorders of the immune system, including food, insect, and respiratory allergies, eczema, asthma, and immune deficiencies. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.
Dr. Weinstein graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, then obtained his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, now known as Rutgers- New Jersey Medical School. After medical school, he completed a pediatrics residency and allergy and immunology fellowship at New Jersey Medical School, where he also served as chief fellow and president of the Residency Council.
Dr. Weinstein has been recognized for his research in the field of urticaria (hives), receiving the prestigious Clemens von Pirquet Award from the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology in 2008. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and he has presented research on the impact of climate change on pollen levels in the New York Metropolitan area at the national meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. In 2013, he was elected president of the New Jersey Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society, completing his term in 2015. He continues to teach future doctors and allergists as an assistant professor at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
