Dr. Bartov explained my situation and his reasoning for the tests he was prescribing as well as the tests themselves. The woman at the desk described test prep in detail and answered my questions.

This was a follow-up visit from a quadruple surgery in December. I had previously spoken to a nurse while waiting for this scheduled follow-up - she was wonderfully reassuring that what I was experiencing was very normal given my history. Dr. Bartov spent a short time with me but it was sufficient. He was very accessible, friendly and, of course, knowledgeable. He also reassured me about my condition and that I was on target for a positive recovery from the surgery. I felt he was totally present for me in our meeting and answered all my questions to may satisfaction (not to say that it was all I wanted but it was all I needed! Example: I was hoping I could come off one of my drugs at some point. He explained why that would be imprudent.).
