About me
Daniel Markley, MD, is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has practiced for more than 10 years with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG) treating a multitude of diseases of the respiratory system and within the medical intensive care unit. His medical purview covers a wide array of disorders, but he carries special interest in diagnosing and managing critical illness, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and interstitial lung disease, as well as diagnosing lung cancer. He provides compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensures they are educated about their condition and are active participants in their treatment.
After earning his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway/Camden, NJ, Dr. Markley performed a residency in categorical medicine at Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, Providence, RI. After a short stint as an internal medicine hospitalist, he then completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in food chemistry, with honors, from Cook College of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.
Dr. Markley has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, delivered numerous national and international presentations, and is a member of the professional organizations the American Thoracic Society and Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
