Dr. Danhua Xiao is an attending physician and a metabolic specialist at Atlantic Health Metabolic Center at Overlook Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine, and she is passionate about helping people become healthier.. Dr. Xiao leads a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team: an internist, dietician, psychologist, nurse, and medical assistant in a comprehensive weight loss program, offering all the serves needed for successful weight loss. Dr. Xiao provides primary weight loss, preoperative weight loss, and surveillance of postoperative patients using evidence-based medicine, motivational interviewing skills, nutritional counseling, educational seminars, individualized meal plan, psychological support, and weight loss medications.
