Carolyn Botros, DO

Carolyn Botros, DO, is a urogynecologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG) Urogynecology Associates. Double-board-certified in OB/GYN and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she treats women with a wide range of concerns related to female pelvic health with the goal of improving quality of life. Fellowship-trained with more than 10 years of experience, Dr. Botros exhibits her passion for medicine in the care and precision she takes with her patients. She assesses individual problems and reviews available treatment options with a reassuring approach and utilizes the latest minimally invasive techniques. Her skills and experience have proven helpful for women seeking relief from pelvic organ prolapse, stress incontinence, overactive bladder, fecal incontinence, urinary frequency and urgency, treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections, and chronic cystitis.

After earning her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Stratford, NJ, Dr. Botros performed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ, where she was named chief resident. She completed a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Chicago/NorthShore University Health System, Skokie, IL. She has received several awards for excellence in medicine and for outstanding teaching of OB/GYN residents.

The author of multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, Dr. Botros has presented at many national and international medical conferences. She has been a co-collaborator on numerous research studies involving issues related to female pelvic health.

Dr. Botros is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Urogynecological Association. She is bilingual in English and Arabic. Dr. Botros is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
