Andrew W Tarulli, MD

Dr. Andrew Tarulli is a fellowship-trained neurologist at Overlook Medical Center’s Atlantic Neuroscience Institute. He is board-certified in neurology, neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine.After graduating magna cum laude from New York University College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor of arts in chemistry, Dr. Tarulli attended New York University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his internship and residency in neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in New York, serving as a chief resident, then went on to become a neurophysiology research fellow. His research on neuromuscular disorders received National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding and his years of schooling are peppered with multiple awards including outstanding teacher, as well as recognition for his research initiatives from Harvard Medical School.Dr. Tarulli has been frequently invited to speak on a wide range of muscle and nerve disorders, both locally and nationally. He has authored multiple textbooks and book chapters, and has published an extensive list of articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Tarulli was editorial board chairman of the AANEM Science News, a journal of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, where he is also a member of the Neuromuscular Assessment Examination committee.Dr. Tarulli maintains professional memberships in the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Academy of Neurology. He is a member of Atlantic Medical Group and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
