Aaron J. Rubinstein, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery. He treats a wide range of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and arm, including traumatic injuries, arthritis, congenital conditions, and
nerve disorders. Dr. Rubinstein completed his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine, followed by orthopaedic surgery residency training at Rutgers University–New Jersey Medical School, where he gained extensive experience at a Level I trauma and limb replantation center. He then completed advanced fellowship training in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Allegheny General Hospital. Dr. Rubinstein is committed to a patient-centered, conservative, and stepwise approach to care. His experience has brought him in contact with a multitude of severe orthopaedic injuries, helping to diversify his skills and surgical techniques. Currently, he is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and AOTrauma North America. He serves as an attending orthopaedic surgeon at Overlook Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, Trinitas Hospital, and is affiliated with Linden Surgical Center.
