What is cardiac CT angiography used for?
We offer computed tomography (CT) angiography at several convenient locations, including wide detector CT scanners at Morristown and Overlook medical centers. Cardiovascular CT is used to evaluate and guide treatment in patients with:
Chest pain
Equivocal stress tests
Coronary artery anomalies
Assessment prior to percutaneous valvular procedures
Assessment of prosthetic heart valves
Abnormalities of the major blood vessels
