About me
Dr. Steven Sclafani is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in sports medicine, with an interest in arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and joint preservation surgery. His surgical practice focuses on disorders of the shoulder and knee, in particular, sports injuries and cartilage repairs. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Morris County Medical Society.
Dr. Sclafani is also Head Team Physician for the Skylands Hockey Team and Sports Orthopedic Consultant for The College of Saint Elizabeth and Pope John XXIII Regional High School.

- 3.3Jul 17, 2025Entered with arm pain from a recent injury and limited meds (prednisone) running out. Dr. Sclafani would not prescribe ANYTHING until an MRI could be done which is a week away with a follow-on appointment to be scheduled and now, without the prednisone (all doses taken), the pain is much more significant, and I am still 4 days away from the MRI, much less the follow-on visit. This is not satisfactory
