Shelly Maniar, DO

Shelly Maniar, DO, is a neurologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, she specializes in the comprehensive evaluation and management of epilepsy, with expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques and individualized antiepileptic treatment strategies. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.

After earning her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Maniar completed her internal medicine preliminary year at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she received the Intern of the Year Award, followed by a neurology residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. During her residency, she was elected chief resident and received the Residency Program Professional Dedication Award. She went on to complete her epilepsy fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, where she spearheaded multiple quality improvement projects and was involved in efforts to educate the community about epilepsy.

Dr. Maniar has authored peer-reviewed publications on epilepsy, glioblastoma multiforme, among other topics. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Epilepsy Society.

Dr. Maniar is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
